States Rights
61Well, I've Quoted the 10th amendment before, and it seems that I'm going to have to quote it again. The 10th amendment of the United States Constitution says 'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. That little section of the 10th amendment, where it says nor prohibited by it to the states, is supposed to give the states enough power to oppose the Federal Government. Especially within their own territory. Now, I know this is going to sound harsh but I feel it has to be said. Aren't we, as a nation, getting just a little tired of a Constitutionally ignorant President continually sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong. Mr. President please, leave the Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker alone. Just because he has a political philosophy that differs from your own doesn't mean that it's ethically appropriate to verbally attack him and accuse him of assaulting the unions. Especially when he is just doing what he can to comply with a Wisconsin state budget amendment, not to mention trying to fulfill a campaign promise. Which is a novelty to be sure.
Didn't President Obama himself say that we need to live within our means? Isn't asking the teachers of Wisconsin (or any state for that matter) to help foot the coast for their benefits such as health care or retirement, instead of continually digging deeper into the pockets of it's taxpayers or just racking up more debt, helping that state to live within it's means?
Tennessee, Arizona and now Wisconsin. This Federal Government is in every other place other than where it should be, Washington, where it belongs. The states of this country have the right to Govern themselves. Which is most assuredly a difficult enough task without having the Feds. constantly knocking at your door. Here is yet another Executive incident that we should keep in mind when the 2012 Presidential election arrives.

voted up and beautiful! Well written and informative. I agree whole-heartedly with your views. Come on Tea Party, let the silent majority root out this puppet of George Soros...
